Well my last post was my very first post....that makes me not a good blogger! I have been thinking about my blog a lot lately....so I need to get back into blogging.
Since my last blog I was promoted to Nursing Supervisor for Able2, the kids had summer vacation and are back to school. There is so much more but I really want to move on to the ways in which God is working his plan in my life.
Recently, well about 4 months ago I found out the I work with some amazing, faithful people. Most people know that faith is not typically discussed at work. I started to feel the need to share Jesus's love with others at work. So needless to say I prayed on it and one day just started a conversation with co-workers relative to the new growth I am having. Low and behold all 6 people I was talking with opened up about their walk with Jesus.
It was SO amazing to hear the testimony pouring out from each person. We talked through our entire lunch break that day and then everyday after that, up until I had to move to a different location due to new position/job. Well it did not stop with those six people, it spread out to other coworkers and I was invited to attend a Faith Group every Monday.
I have found out that although many people do not discuss their spiritual beliefs many want too, they just don't know how to get started or fear "offending" someone. I will continue to open up about my faith in Jesus and will not worry about who I "offend". Jesus is the person I was "offending" by not being open and honest about His love and the way it has changed my life. Even with family members who Believe but only pray when all else has failed. My motto is "Pray first not last because the results will AMAZE you!"
So until next time pray, pray, pray before ALL else fails not when ALL else fails.....the results will AMAZE you!
